Open a conversation in Messages, tap the App Store icon or the + next to the text box, choose Parlor, and pick a game. Your first move is sent as a message; your friend taps it to play their turn.

Everyone who plays needs Parlor installed. If they just installed it, ask them to close and reopen Messages.

Live games let everyone play at the same time. Start one, tap Send invite, and everyone who opens it lands in a waiting room. When everyone taps Ready, the game starts on every phone at once. Live games need an internet connection.

In two-player games, tap "Switch to turns" and the game continues by message. In group games, the computer plays for anyone who has left after a few seconds, so the game keeps going.

No problem. Open the same game bubble again and your turn picks up where you left off.

Swipe Messages closed and open it again. If it keeps happening, restart your iPhone, and let us know which game you were opening.

In Parlor, tap your character at the top of the game list to change your nickname, face, hat and colors.

Yes. Open the Parlor app from your home screen to play any game against the computer, or pass the phone to play someone next to you.

Your settings and character are stored on your iPhone; deleting the app removes them. Live games are deleted from our server automatically within about a day. You can also email us with any privacy request.
